Our farmhouse is one of the oldest in Sicily and has kept its original mark: a welcoming, rustic, essential place, obtained from ancient stables and stone sheepfolds.

We have ten rooms, single, double, triple and one quadruple (double bed + bunk bed) each with private bathroom with shower, on the ground floor, for a total of about 25 beds. The rooms are almost all dedicated to authors and characters of literature, and each one constitutes a small comfortable and surprising microcosm in which to immerse oneself.

The Proust, Poesia and Melville rooms allow a beautiful view of the mountains and are close to the swimming pool from which you can admire beautiful sunsets over the sea.

Closer to the restaurant and surrounded by greenery, shaded by fir and chestnut trees, the rooms Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Don Quixote, Hemingway, Virginia Woolf and two rooms not yet assigned.

Each room is also a small library; books and board games for adults and children can also be found in the restaurant and reception.

It is possible to request an individual or couple creative and autobiographical writing activity (for a fee) starting from the main themes of the rooms.

Services

The rooms are well heated, and for the summer they are equipped with a fan; we do not need air conditioning given the altitude.

Each room is equipped with a mini-bar. We have no television, not even in the common areas, for a precise choice.
We provide hairdryer and bathroom courtesy set. The cleaning of the rooms takes place every other day.

We do laundry and ironing service for a fee on request.
